American Information Consumption Up In All Categories
Nielsen recently released a report that highlights some impressive information consumption statistics. In the 3rd quarter of 2008, Americans increased the number of hours TV watched, dramatically increased the number of hours using their DVR, increased their use of the internet, and lastly, increased their consumption of video on the internet and mobile phones.
The one number that stands out to me is the increase in the amount of time spent using DVR’s such as Tivo.
